Sudhir Choudhrie, Founder of Magnum Trading Company
Sudhir Choudhrie is well known for being the longest heart transplant survivor. He uses his condition to support transplant patients by participating in charitable organizations and hospitals to support patients undergoing the same treatment as him. At eight years old, Choudhrie was diagnosed with a leaking heart valve. And ever since, he has been receiving medical treatment. In 1999 he received a donor, and Dr Mehmet OZ did a heart operation. After consistent therapy, he gained his full recovery. Besides his health condition, Sudhir Choudhrie did not lose sight of his dream as he continued his education and pursued a degree in economics. After school, he started his own company in 1975 called the Magnum Trading Company Ltd. He likes to share his story with the world to encourage and promote organ donations. Sudhir also donates at Columbia University Medical Center, where the surgery took place.
Today, Sudhir Choudhrie is among the most successful business owners. Besides founding his own company, Sudhir has also ventured into a wide range of businesses, including working as the Non-Executive Manager at an expensive travel agency called the Ebookers PL and partnering with Taj Hotels Resort. He also founded Adidas Indian Trading in 1995, which expanded and opened ten stores units in India and led to the opening of industrial facilities across the country. His resourceful nature led to the investment of India first budget line, which now carries hundreds of passengers per day and more
