The Dechert White Collar Law Firm
The Dechert white collar law firm was established initially in Philadelphia in 1875 under the name MacVeagh & Bispham. In 1942, the firm, named Barnes, Myers & Price, merged with another law firm named Dechert, Smith & Clark established in 1930. In 1962 the firm became Dechert Price and Rhoads. In 2002 they joined with a UK-based firm called Titmuss, Sainer & Webb. This merger helped globalize the wide range of services that the Dechert law firm offered its clients. This move was supported by the firm’s establishment of overseas offices, including a Brussels office in 1968, a London office in 1972, and a Paris office in 1995. They were the first overseas offices opened by the firm. The firm also extended its roots across the U.S by establishing the Washington DC office in 1969, the New York office in 1980, and the Chicago office in 2012, to name a few.
